Listen to this cool song about a librarian - it rocks! There's even a contest to identify the books alluded to in the song. If I had more free time, I'd put my Veronica Mars sleuth skills to the test. Maybe bookclub can work on it collectively.

So as a cataloger, I of course listened to the call numbers sung out and tried to figure out the books that way. I can't make out the first one, but the other books are:
Day of the bomb : countdown to Hiroshima by Dan Kurzman (D767.25.H6 K865)
Satie remembered by Robert Orledge (ML410.S196 O73)
Last Man by Mary Shelley (PZ3 .S545 L2 -- a book I have considered more than once for book club!)
For the first I hear: Q?6989 G38 but I tried all Q combos and none came up with aything.

Hi Donna - I knew you could do it. I think it sounds like QL - but I couldn't quite catch it either.
They should change the refrain to Donna will know!!
